The probiotic cultures we use in our product are tested and safe friendly bacteria that naturally inhabit the human digestive tract. Probiotics are generally understood to be substances that have a beneficial effect on the development of intestinal microbiota. The product contains tyndallised probiotics. Tyndallisation is a special heat treatment of probiotics, thanks to which probiotics retain their beneficial effects while being rid of some disadvantages. Probiotics treated in this way can be stored at room temperature or in liquids without losing their beneficial effect. Tyndallised probiotics can have a very positive effect on digestion, the immune system, metabolism, diarrhoea prevention, irritable bowel syndrome, skin health, inflammation and infections.

Galactooligosaccharides, or GOS for short, are low-molecular-weight carbohydrates composed of several galactose molecules. They occur naturally in breast milk, for example. In food and dietary supplements, they are used as soluble fibre and a prebiotic, i.e. a component that serves as a source of nutrients for certain types of intestinal bacteria. They help increase the amount of fibre in the diet and promote intestinal balance. They are often added to baby food, yoghurts and functional drinks.

A new generation of prebiotics based on modified, enzymatically liquefied chicory fructooligosaccharides contributes to the natural renewal of the intestinal microbiota. It acts in all parts of the intestine – both the small and large intestines. Our body cannot use, digest or absorb this fibre. However, it is an important nutrient for beneficial intestinal bacteria in our intestines. In addition, it promotes the growth of bifidogenic bacteria in the intestines. It also increases the production of butyrate by friendly intestinal bacteria. Butyrate is a very beneficial substance for our body. It also serves as a source of energy for the cells of the intestinal mucosa, thus helping to restore its integrity (wholeness).

It originates from the tropical and subtropical regions of South and Central America. The main power of stevia is hidden in its leaves and stems, which contain the substance stevioside. This is 200-300 times sweeter than sucrose and has negligible energy content. Stevia has been used in natural medicine for centuries, which is why we have chosen steviol glycosides as our sweetener.
